Fabric and Research
The Cotton Nylon Micro Ripstop is a lightweight fabric woven in a ripstop structure — a reinforcement technique where thicker threads are interwoven at regular intervals in a grid pattern, preventing tears from spreading. The micro scale of the ripstop grid keeps the fabric lightweight and refined in appearance while retaining the durability benefit. The fabric is a cotton-nylon blend (79% cotton, 21% polyamide): the nylon component does not absorb the dye in the garment dyeing process, but is altered by the cotton dye bath — creating a subtle two-tone effect within the weave structure that gives the fabric a natural, textured depth. Made in Italy.
