Y-3 AW25: Amber Ink: A Study in Motion and Mood

Dropping at Zoo this Summer, the Y-3 AW25 Men’s Collection delves into the space where digital precision meets abstract expression, anchored by the bold introduction of the season’s signature ‘Amber Ink’ graphics. A palette both grounded and otherworldly, Amber Ink evokes the saturation of digital colour fields while nodding to the organic unpredictability of ink in motion.

Fluid, Layered and Alive.

Shot by acclaimed photographer Thue Nørgaard, the lookbook is a study in visual tension and harmony. Known for his unique art-working technique, Thue re-imagines colour gradients into immersive, emotive backdrops that mirror the depth of the collection itself. His lens captures more than garments; it translates the design ethos of Y-3 - where graphic influence and elevated form coalesce into a visceral visual language.

The lighting throughout is rich, atmospheric and deeply evocative, creating an environment that blurs the boundary between physical space and digital simulation. Within these settings, the Y-3 Amber Ink graphics emerge not merely as design details, but as visual signatures, symbols of creative resistance and futuristic imagination.

For the AW25 season Y-3 continues to evolve its legacy by inviting deeper interpretation, not just of fashion, but of the world we move through. Amber Ink, under Nørgaard’s lens, becomes more than aesthetic. It becomes a state of mind.
