Introducing the Amiri Bone Runner

Amiri’s latest foray into the world of sneakers sees the introduction of the Bone Runner: the centrepiece of the label’s latest campaign.

Debuting at Amiri’s AW20 show in Paris, the Bone Runner draws inspiration from retro sports sneakers, reimagining archetypal details through their own contemporary vision. The intricate combination of mesh, leather and suede at the upper references the silhouettes of classic running trainers from the archives, whilst Amiri’s signature, hand-cut and painted skeleton appliqués uplift the design as a tribute to luxury craftsmanship.

The Bone Runner expertly marries the nostalgic sentiment of classic athletic sneaker styles with the technical innovation of contemporary craft, striking a balance that speaks to the past as much as does the present and future. Amiri’s penchant and unmistakable talent for riffing on beloved archival templates are once again showcased with his latest sneaker power-play.

The Bone Runner is available now in feather grey, in store and online.
