Fabric and Research
Hooded parka made from a ripstop cotton that is piece-dyed and laminated with a shiny, fine-grained polyurethane film to achieve a prismatic effect. The finished garment then undergoes a fading process, and the prismatic section is overdyed. Thanks to the construction of the garment, some parts resist fading, creating contrasting areas in a darker shade. Quilted padded lining.

• Detachable padded hood that fastens to garment with buttons with large geometric Velcro chin strap.
• Dark Burgundy
• Large slanted hand pockets with concealed zip and second slanted pockets with concealed snap. 
• Stone Island badge on left sleeve.
• Drawstring at waist that is visible on outside of garment.
• Tightening strap with buttoned cuffs.
• Two-way zip fastening under concealed snap placket.
• Inner quilted lining features V-neckline, internal pocket with button and Compass embroidery, and snap fastening.
• The lining can be attached to the outer garment using a system of ties adapted from those used in the sailing world.
