Palm Angels x Clarks Collaboration

To mark the 70th anniversary of the original, iconic Clarks desert boot, Palm Angels and Clarks Originals join forces to present this exclusive design for their collaborative capsule collection.

The design aesthetic is inspired by the sandy canyons and rocky mountains of the American West, a backdrop which provides the foundation for Palm Angels’ AW20 presentation. Palm Angels x Clarks’ desert boot imbues the spirit of adventure and limitless discovery that are synonymous with such an environment. It carries over the defining characteristics of Clarks’ original 1950 design, ensuring that the prevailing sense of heritage is retained and that it is, at its core, the same classic desert boot that we all know and love. It is constructed atop Clarks Originals’ signature all-natural crepe sole and still utilises the finest suede from its historic UK partner tannery Charles F. Stead.

Now updated to proudly exhibit Palm Angels' iconic gothic logo along the vamp, the boot is presented in sand and black colourways.

A little more on Clarks…

Clarks, based in Somerset, England has been at the forefront of innovative shoe making since it’s founding as a label in 1825. When brothers James and Cyrus Clark made a slipper from sheepskin off-cuts it was considered a breakthrough in invention and craftsmanship that’s remained at the heart of what the famous shoemaker does now. In the Clarks archive of more than 22,000 pairs are shoes that have sparked revolutions and defined generations. From the original Clarks desert boot, to the iconic Wallabee, each design has an instantly recognisable design aesthetic, which is reinforced by the handwritten ‘Clarks’ logo found on every individual unit. It’s a unique combination of craftsmanship and innovation that make it unmistakably Clarks.
