This garment is made of a two-ply performance material. The outer face, made from a slightly stretchy high-tenacity nylon, is treated with a thermosensitive coating with liquid crystals that changes colour based on the temperature. The fabric is laminated to a wind- and water-resistant padded inner membrane. Detachable balaclava and glovelets.

- Raglan sleeves. Standing hand pockets with concealed zip.
- Inner pocket with button and Compass logo embroidery.
- On left sleeve, bellows pocket with fixed flap, concealed snap, and white Stone Island research badge; second standing pocket with concealed zip.
- Detached internal cuff with elasticated tape trim and tightening snap, and zip for detachable glovelets.
- Drawcord in bottom hem.
- Two-way zip fastening under hook-and-loop placket with one snap and tape loop with snap at bottom.
