Fabric and Research
Panama cotton is a plain-weave fabric with a distinctive basket-weave structure — threads are woven in pairs rather than individually, creating a subtle textured surface and a slightly open, breathable hand. The organic cotton version uses fibres grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilisers. The 'OLD' treatment is an exclusive Stone Island dyeing process: after garment dyeing, the finished piece undergoes a controlled fading treatment that creates a slightly worn, three-dimensional appearance — as if the garment has already been lived in. The desert beige colourway and worn finish make this the natural overshirt companion to the Beige Paracadute Trousers and Beige Cotton Nylon Micro Ripstop Shirt in the warm summer tones series.
