Fabric and Research
The Water Reactive Faded Camo Shiny Nylon is one of Stone Island's most playful fabric innovations. A faded camouflage motif is printed onto a shiny nylon ground, then garment dyed. The water-reactive finish means the camouflage pattern visibly changes when the fabric becomes wet — deepening in colour and shifting in tone — before returning to its original appearance as it dries. No two pieces age in exactly the same way.
