Spanish fashion designer Cristóbal Balenciaga left an indelible mark on fashion as we know it. Formed in 1919 in his namesake, Paris-based Balenciaga has grown to become a titanic entity in the world of haute couture and remains a consistently evolving label to this day.


The label is currently helmed by Demna, a designer who’s widely known for his futuristic collections, his explorative commentary on pop-culture tropes and his steadfast dedication to sustainability.


Generation-defining silhouettes like the iconic Triple S, Track and Speed trainers are just a handful of the many instantly recognisable classics that have helped to cultivate a global mass appeal for the label.
