Following on from the hugely successful launch of Kanye West’s collaboration with Adidas Originals, ZOOFASHIONS.COM is proud to showcase the next chapter of Yeezy Season 1 with the launch of the highly anticipated third Yeezy Boost 350.

This latest instalment of the Yeezy Boost 350 comes in the colourway known as ‘Moonrock’ following the previous iterations, ‘Turtle Dove’ and ‘Pirate black’. The new ‘Moonrock’ colourway features a grey and white upper with matching laces. The insteps feature suede panels with the Adidas logo impressed on the left foot and the Yeezy logo impressed on the right. There are light coloured tabs on the back with contrast stitching and the shoe is completed with a grey sole.

Primeknit

The Yeezy 350 Boost is constructed using Adidas’ advanced Primeknit fabric which is digitally knitted using one piece for the entire upper. Developed since 2010, this method of digitally knitting fused yarn has enabled Adidas to tweak and calibrate exactly the levels of support and flexibility. Amazingly this is all whilst maintaining a lightweight construction and without compromising comfort as the shoe moulds and wraps seamlessly around your foot.

Boost

The 350 Boost is finished off with the signature Yeezy ridged sole which incorporates Adidas’ groundbreaking Boost technology which can be seen in white running through the midsole and heel of the outsole.

Unveiled to the world by Adidas in 2013 the Boost midsole was an innovative sole design constructed from thousands of specially formulated foam pellets called ‘Energy Capsules’. The Energy Capsules act in unison absorbing shock and provide more responsive energy return than anything else in the industry.

"[Kanye West] got to try the Pure Boost and his response was 'this is amazing.'"

—Nic Galway, Vice President of global design at Adidas Originals

Following in the footsteps of veterans such as Yohji Yamamoto, Rick Owens (Adidas x Rick Owens) and Raf Simons (Adidas x Raf Simons), Kanye West has taken some of the best technologies from Adidas and has created something which represents his streetwear style in a truly revolutionary way.
